Chicago Welcomes Canada
This week New Life Pilsen opens it’s doors to a group of missionaries from Southridge Community Church in Canada. The group is made up of 5 high school students and 3 leaders. They arrived safely in Chicago yesterday evening after an 11 hour drive.
We will be spending our week working with the Safe Haven program and running a VBS for the students after the program as well. We are excited for this opportunity to get to share Christ with these kids, to love on them, and to have lots of fun along the way.
Please be praying for the youth group and the kids of Safe Haven, that they would all grow closer to the Lord this week as they serve him and hear of him. Even though we are small in numbers this week, I know we will make a huge impact on this community as the teams before us has done. Thank you for your prayers!
