The Crew outside of the Elementry School that we volunteered at

Think back to your high school senior class trip. What did you do? Where did you go? How long was your trip? Just thinking back on this time may bring back good memories or it may bring back some bad memories.  Or if you were like me, I missed completely out on my senior class trip because of a prior engagement.

The senior class from the Rapid City Christian School in South Dakota took a week off of school to come be the hands and feet of Jesus in Chicago. It was exciting to watch this group grow even closer to each other as the week grew on. They came in knowing a lot about each other and left with a deeper understanding of each other and who God created them to be.

The group volunteered at an elementary school, helped out with "Safe Haven" which is the after school program at the church, made necklaces and bracelets at a senior center, packed sack lunches to pass out to the homeless to open up conversations, helped the alderman move stuff up out of the basement, and so much more.
