I arrived at the 18th street park ready to minister to those who are homeless. She looked at me, I saw a stare of hopelessness. I felt helpless. My group was on it’s way to dinner, so I didn’t share my faith, because I didn't want the group to wait on me, nor did I want to hold them up!
AS I walked away, I made a promise to God, that when the next opportunity presented itself, I wouldn’t let the moment pass by.
A few hours later, we where at the Home Depot shopping for supplies. A woman walk-up to me with a small child, asking for help. I remembered the promise, I had made hours back. Without hesitation, I gave her $50.00, I prayed over her, and led her to salvation. I will never forget the looked she gave me, smiling and with tears streaming down her face. I had never given money to anyone before! However, I acted out of faith and obedience, without being analytical and a life was changed.
