Ministry in Chicago hit the ground running with the arrival of two wonderful teams, one from Nebraska and the other from Arkansas. Together all 60 of us piled into New Life Pilsen sharing 4 bathrooms and a handful of basement showers for 5 days. It was a whirlwind week full of service, learning, sharing, and growing together as the body of Christ. It was a beautiful week and a great way to kick off a summer!
“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.

Beach Ministry: While handing out free snow cones at Montrose Beach we found out it was this guys birthday! The group of 60 gathered around and sang to him. He later said it was one of the best birthdays he’d ever had. Many times Jesus sends us out to minister to many, and sometimes he wants our focus to be on the ONE. So thankful for the opportunity to bless this man.

Ministry on the L Train. This group rode around the city sharing their faith with strangers who were willing to listen and engage with them in conversation! Brave bunch!
Last but not least, cooking with Debbie! We love helping her out in the kitchen. She is without a doubt the sweetest cook around and her food is to die for! Wise words from Debbie: “Whether you are scrubbing toilets or anything else in the world do it all in the name of the Lord.” AMEN to that!
