HEARTS OF LOVE FOR THE HOMELESS

Bethel Church in Pilsen Chicago is highly involved in their community and have a heart for serving the homeless.
The group was from Ohio and a huge desire to serve the homeless in Chicago. They brought 60 pack filled hygiene kits to hand out during the trip. We found out that they would quickly run out. On the last day of their trip we headed out to Tent City, Chinatown and ran into several shelters in downtown Chicago. We spent most of the day witnessing to people, prayer walks and random acts of kindness. We even had a mother of two beautiful young boys call the Church from Ohio and tell them we had a huge impact on her life. This the picture is of a woman living in the woman’s shelter and was crying most of the time. We asked her to sing a song for us. This was a very special moment and then two girls from the group sang her a song. Moments that move your heart and Jesus showed up for the team
