Sunday we went to the New life Church for worship. We missed the service due to a schedule change, but walked in during the closing worship of the Spainish Service. It was an energy packed room. They were praying for people at an open alter and the band was singing songs in Spainish and  English. I had been in quite a spiritual slump due to my own laziness and self motives.  I came on this trip for a re-focusing experience.  I was not expecting it to happen the very first morning. As they worshiped and I reveled over the dissapointment of missing the service I decided to not let it stand in my way. I didn't even pray. I just listened. I began to feel God's Presence more than I had in a long time.  Not because he wasn't there but because I was ignoring Him, but now I was giving Him my full attention.  I was getting into the energy in the room, the Spirit stirring, but I didn't want the distraction, I wanted to jump and run to the alter, instead I sat quietly and listened. The Lord spoke to me through that service telling me.  "This is how I want you to live your life for me full of energy, loud, and uninhibited'.  This experience the first day set the mood for the entire trip for me.
