All the kids made it home safe and sound! What a week! We had a great last morning of packing up, cleaning up, saying goodbyes and savoring our last moments all together. We couldn’t be more proud of them. There was even a moment this morning to encourage and talk with a few local clients at an elderly day care across the street from our church. The kids were led to write letters to them at the beginning of the week so a few of them had the opportunity to deliver them and get to know them. It was a sweet time. After that they all loaded up on the bus and the vans and headed home! God is good! Until next year Chicago!!
